Sicterm

The SICTERM product line is made up of Silicon Carbide self-alloy or ceramic alloys refractories. The main characteristics of this line are the high refractoriness level, low wettability for non-ferrous metals, high thermal conductibility and good thermal shock resistance.

Typical Applications:

• Muffles for ceramic furnaces (porcelain, flooring, bathroom fixtures);
• Rails and hearths for thermal treatment furnaces;
• Pouring runners for non-ferrous metals;
• Primary aluminum smelting furnaces;
• Special parts in contact with molten metals and slag, and acid atmospheres.
